Pebbles is a big, goofy four-year-old, 80-pound, female American Bulldog/Mastiff-mix looking for a loving guardian. Pebbles loves people and she loves to please. She has quickly learned the commands sit and paw. She is a super snuggler who loves to be pet and touched. In fact, she has no idea how big she is and tries to sit in your lap. She likes children, but she's a food thief, so she's probably best in a home with teenagers and adults. We don't know a lot about Pebbles past, but she's not big on other animals. She's looking for a home as the one and only pet where she'll get the love and walks, and car rides that she adores. Inside the ... (Read More)home, she's happy to self-entertain with her balls and toys. Pebbles is crate-trained and perfectly housebroken. She is very healthy, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. To meet and possibly adopt Pebbles, please contact her foster mom Diane at dianebotica@gmail.com or 312-914-8079.     Dawson is a happy, cuddly, wiggly, energetic, goofy and good-natured, three-year-old, 60-pound, male, Dogo Argentino or mix looking for a loving guardian. Rescued in Kendall County, Illinois, Dawson sits on command and takes treats gently from your fingers. He enjoys the company of other dogs - male and female. He's fine with cats that don't mind playful, energetic dogs. He loves people of all ages, but he is a bit clumsy, so best with adults and older children who he can't knock over. Rescue Me ID: 13-11-25-00538Capone (male)

American Bulldog Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Capone is a handsome, affectionate, playful, active and energetic, two-year-old, 65-pound, brindle and white, male American Bulldog/German Shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian. Capone has such great ears that his nickname is Bat Dog. The poor guy got off to a very rough start to his life; he and his littermates almost succumbed to Parvo. The vet chose to treat the sick puppies with the antibiotic Baytril which helped Capone fight infection, but damaged his hips. So, by the age of 18 months, he had surgery on both hips. You'd hardly know it now because he's still a happy, playful guy who gets the zoomies '| runs, jumps and plays! ... (Read More)Capone is living in a foster home where he is perfecting his housebreaking. He's 90% there! He already knows the commands sit and down and walks nicely on leash. He's also great in the car. He is a very loyal and loving dog who is looking for an experienced dog-lover who can deal with a fearful and protective dog. Capone does best with someone who will work with him and give him structure. Capone can be a bit dog selective. So, he'd be great as the only dog in your world, or he could live with another dog, but it's got to be the right dog. He is currently sharing his foster home with two Rottweilers with whom he gets along. He has not been cat-tested. To meet and possibly adopt Capone, please contact the K94Keeps Rescue at info@k94keeps.org or 312-221-9285. Capone is now healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $250 includes professional training sessions, and benefits the rescued dogs of K9 4 Keeps Rescue. (Less)

Lucky was saved from a kill shelter at his last hour. He is a very sweet boy with people (don't know about children), but does not get along with other male and some female dogs. He has had no training, which would probably help, but would be best as an only dog. He knows how to use the doggie door to go potty. Loves to play fetch. Loves petting.
