Rescue Me ID: 14-10-19-00208Boo (male)

American Bulldog Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Boo is only 3 months old and has been picked up running at large. Nice people find him and turn him over to animal control so he won't get hurt and the owner comes and says someone stole him. This last time the owner decided Boo wasn't worth the impound fee and fines. Boo was lucky, now he can get a good home. The owner claimed he was a Boxer/ mastiff mix. There are a lot of American Bulldogs in the area, and very few Mastiffs, so I wonder. He has large bone and big feet and should be a stout boy. The picture doesn't do him justice, he is a beautiful mahogany bindle and white. He acts like a Boxer puppy and snuffles like one when excited. He ... (Read More)plays well with other dogs and lived in his first home with small children and cats. Boo is a good dog who deserves a GOOD home. (Less)

Chance is a real sweet boy that got off to a difficult start. We saved him from the Valencia County Shelter suffering from a broken pelvis and fractured hip. With the skilled help of Dr. Rose at VCA, Chance made a wonderful recovery and you can hardly tell he has metal and screws holding him together! He really likes people, in fact he is friendly with everyone! He is fairly dog neutral but does not like doggies that get in his face or play to rough, although when he was in boarding Chance enjoyed his play group sessions with other dogs. He interacts well with both small and big dogs and corrects puppies in a very gentle way. He loves ... (Read More)playing. The boarding facility said that he loves being out with other dogs. The staff there hopes that his social nature will help him towards a forever home! Chance is good on walks and is not destructive in the house while you are gone. He likes staying warm inside the house and going for rides in the car where he likes to ride shotgun. He also loves to play. Everyone who meets him loves Chance, he is such a sweet boy.
