Rescue Me ID: 15-02-26-00300Luna (female)

American Bulldog    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

American Bulldog, five years old. Rescued from the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. She was not compatible with my dog and cat. She exhibits high separation anxiety and would be best in a calm, loving home with an owner devoted to rehabilitating her. I took her back to the shelter--it would have been a diservice to her and my family to have kept her. She is a love and wants to be loved.

American Bulldog    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults

ndi is a 6 year old purebred American Bully who was registered with the ABKC. She lived in Florida with one of her pups and several other dogs. The owners of the dogs declined in health and the dogs became neglected. They sat in urine and feces soaked crates for days on end. When animal control finally heard of the conditions they lived in, two years later, they confiscated the dogs. A trainer who previously trained the dogs when they were younger heard of the horrible situation and brought them from Florida to NM with the help of PACA. It took a while to get Indi healthy enough for adoption. She is great with people and kids. She is ok ... (Read More)with some dogs. She is crate and house trained and loves to lay on her bed and play with her toys. Although she is pretty well behaved the trainer will donate free classes for anyone who adopts her. Indi is a fun loving girl who is just looking for the right family to love her! Contact Lisa at (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-10-00402FRECKLES (female)

American Bulldog Mix    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

WANTED: good soul with open heart to bring FRECKLES into their life. Female dog that's been to heck and back and is still amazingly warm and wonderful. She still needs more confidence being around strangers, but has improved IMMENSLY and continues to improve. She needs a calm household where she's allowed on the couch and can snuggle in bed with you at night. She would love a home with a laid back dog (loves small dogs especially). Maybe you like to spend time in the garden or backyard reading? She loves her daily long walks and hikes , she's terrific in the car and greatly enjoys this, and she's also terrific in the house. She has a few ... (Read More)favorite toys she loves and loves to play with you. She goes to doggie daycare for two hours at a time (longer than this overwhelms her). She knows how to use a doggie door and is also good waiting for you to let her out. She is VERY smart. Being around busy public places overwhelms her still at this point. So she needs a person she trusts and can look to for guidance and a nice calm home to keep her feeling loved. She loves sharing treats with you! Please consider adopting Freckles, sorry the pictures are not great, she's actually a beautiful dog! 505-702-9396 (Less)
