Rescue Me ID: 16-04-27-00309LaFawnduh (female)

American Bulldog    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected, Aggressive

LaFawnduh is a sweet American Bully who recently became aggressive towards my two teenagers (which is the only reason I listed aggressive). She is friendly with most everyone else. I don't know if she's been abused but does seem to get skiddish when I've raised my voice in the past. She is not deaf but does seem to not hear very well. LaFawnduh has skin allergies which largely affect her ears and her paws. I've been able to manage this with over the counter Benadryl when it flares up. She is good on a leash and overall, a friendly and happy dog. I am only parting with her because of her aggression towards my kids.

lnteresting American Bulldog Trivia Low-Cost New Mexico Spay & Neuter Clinics
The American Bulldog thrived in the colonial American South due to settlers' problems with feral pigs. American Bulldogs were their best means of controlling the pigs. The American Bulldog is a much closer relative of the Old English Bulldog than the modern English Bulldog is.
