Rescue Me ID: 16-10-16-00126ZACH (male)
If you love hiking, trail running, and other outdoor activities ZACH loves you already. ZACH is playful, smart, considerate and affectionate. He is about 2 years old and full grown at 55#. He's a great buddy, great with adults, children and dogs. He loves his walks, is great in daycare, and hikes on the trails. He currently takes hikes with his foster dad and his group of friends with their dogs and they all hike off leash together. He's good in the house, car and crate. He has a very happy personality (like a Lab) and will even let you dress him up in costumes! Zach is a very good boy, is super smart, and loyal. He's excellent with puppies as well, very considerate. Zach is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date with his vaccines. Please contact DesertPawsNM@live.com or text 505-702-9396 to adopt! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-09-16-00185Chance (male)
Hi my name is Chance. I have just completed doggie boot camp and am ready for my forever home. I love to be with my humans whether its watching tv or hanging out around the house. My foster parents say with the right training I would make a great agility dog. I am good on a leash, but don't need one as I would never want to leave your side. I sleep in a crate and know basic commands like sit, down and off.

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-29-00455Betsy (female)
Betsy is now available for adoption!! Little Betsy is a Roswell Survivor. At just 3 months old, she found her little self on death row. Betsy was rescued about 2 months ago, so she is now 5 months old. Betsy is UTD on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative and microchipped. Betsy is doing very well in foster care and is crate trained and is learning manners and basic commands. She is housebroken and walks well on a leash. She is very intelligent and a thinker! Betsy does well with the other dogs in her foster home and we would recommend a home with children ages 8 and up due to her young age. She is untested with cats. If you would like to meet Betsy please contact us (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-27-00309LaFawnduh (female)
LaFawnduh is a sweet American Bully who recently became aggressive towards my two teenagers (which is the only reason I listed aggressive). She is friendly with most everyone else. I don't know if she's been abused but does seem to get skiddish when I've raised my voice in the past. She is not deaf but does seem to not hear very well. LaFawnduh has skin allergies which largely affect her ears and her paws. I've been able to manage this with over the counter Benadryl when it flares up. She is good on a leash and overall, a friendly and happy dog. I am only parting with her because of her aggression towards my kids.

American Bulldogs can make good pets in New Mexico if they match your IifestyIe. The American Bulldog is an athletic, determined, loyal, and highly devoted breed. American Bulldogs are very affectionate towards children but should be supervised because of their strength. American Bulldogs are very protective of their masters and make great guard dogs. An American Bulldog can do fine in an apartment if it gets enough exercise and is walked daily. Like the English Bulldog, the American Bulldog tends to slobber.
