Two year-old Peaches has looked into the eyes of death and survived. Peaches lived in the woods with a homeless family after being found wandering down a busy road. Living at the edge of a tributary of Three Mile Creek, Peaches accidentally got off her lead and tangled with an 8-foot alligator. She nearly lost her life, but due to the quick action of Drs. Eiland and Johnson from Ark Animal Clinic and Rehabilitation Center, Peaches life was saved. Five, six-inch long incisions closed up her wounds, including a near miss to her femoral artery. Her family asked that we find her a more stable home where she can be safe for the rest of her life. ... (Read More)Her recovery went very well and she is ready for a foster home or adopter.
