I am having to re-home my American bulldog, Austin. Kids are just a little too much for her and she doesn't get along with other dogs well. We recently became foster parents and got our first placement and it is just too much for her. We are located in spartanburg but are willing to travel wherever to make sure she goes to a good home. My friend has her has of yesterday, but they can only keep her a week and then she goes to the pound. She really is a good dog, she just needs someone who can help her through her anxiety problems and love her the way that we do. We are heart broken over this, but feels it's best for autstin. Can you please help us? We need to find her good home, soon. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-11-09-00440Lou (male)
Lou Sweet boy Lou is a 13 month old American Pitbull Terrier mix that weighs about 45 lbs, he is very sweet and smart, and is a natural to train. He is heartworm negative, fecal negative, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his shots. Lou is one smart cookie! He walks very well on a leash and learns commands very quickly. He loves to please his people! Lou is good with other dogs, always wanting to play and make friends, we don't yet know how is with cats. He is crate trained and house trained. Lou is a darling and is an easygoing, gentle boy that would be a good fit in almost any home. Lou was at North Augusta City Animal Shelter when Shelter Animals Advocates pulled him. He is currently living in a foster home and is patiently waiting for his forever home! www.shelteranimalsadvocates.org (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-20-00038Harley (male)
Harley is a very loving animal and i hate to give him up but he keeps getting out of the fence and I'm very afraid he is going to get hit by a car. He is deaf, he's house broke and loves to be astound people. He suffers from separation anxiety chews on his hind quarter when left alone to long. He has been micro chipped. I love him to death and really want him to go somewhere he can run free without worry of him getting hit or mistreated. I want him to have a loving family that understands he can not hear and he knows hand signals for commands.

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-19-00075Ivan (male)
With a very heavy heart I must find my baby a new home and loving parent that would love and adore him as much as I do. Ivan is a very happy and affectionate dog. He loves just to chill but also loves going on the walks and play with a football outside. He is beautiful 7 years old dog and still have plenty of energy to play. He is around 85 pounds but thinks that he is a tiny dog. He does not realize how big and strong he is sometimes, which is part of the problem with this breed of dogs. He is also somewhat dominant and stubborn, which is common is American bulldogs. The reason we must find him another home is me having a baby very soon. We have another male dog that Ivan had couple of accidents over period of 5 years since me and my husband lived together. We want both dogs and our newborn to be safe and not worry about something happening between two dogs. He is very protective over me and that may be not a good thing with me having a newborn. We had a female dog that unfortunately passed away few months back because of the health issue. Ivan was very good with her. I would not place him with a family that have small children just because of his size. Although, he has never been around small children. He is good with older kids though. I would prefer him to go to someone that is familiar with his breed. Thank you for your consideration. (Less)

American Bulldogs are very affectionate towards children but should be supervised because of their strength. American Bulldogs are very protective of their masters and make great guard dogs. An American Bulldog can do fine in an apartment if it gets enough exercise and is walked daily. Like the English Bulldog, the American Bulldog tends to slobber.
