|Rescue Me ID: 15-06-30-00446Lucy (female)|
Meet Lucy! Lucy came from a shelter where she was brought in as a stray. Lucy enjoys car rides, leaning into her humans' legs, naps, long walks with her foster mom and foster dog brother. Lucy is bonding with her foster mom quickly and likes to keep track of her whereabouts. If you like 'those wonderful Big Dog hugs', you'll love Lucy, she is a leaner and can't resist a good snuggle. Lucy would do best in a home with larger dogs; she is too interested in smaller animals and may become too rough with them so no small dogs and no cats. The foster home has a 30 pound male dog and an 11 year old human child. Lucy is quite fond of both of them. She has started basic obedience training to work on her stay and recall. Once Lucy puts on the weight she lost, she will probably be about 70 pounds. During the day she has access to her crate, which she likes, she rides nice in the car. This girl is charming, loyal and silly. You will be proud to have her at your side. Lucy is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Foster location is Lyons, IL. Please call foster mom Melinda for more information at (312) 434-8385 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. ADOPTION FEE IS $200.00. If no answer call (708) 927-1270. (Less)

Bud is a sweetheart who just lost her humans to death very unexpectedly. She will be loyal, guard your house from unfamiliar noises, sleep and snuggle with you, go for walks with her special collar. She has been around kids and is totally fine but is ready for some quiet life. She does NOT do well with other dogs. She loves going for rides and listening to music.

|Rescue Me ID: 15-06-08-00496Barry White (aka Kilo) (male)|
Barry (aka Kilo) had been posted to Rescue Me earlier this year and he thought he got a home in March. They said they loved him but housing issues they did not resolve resulted in him having to come back to me. There is a friend with a cat who had been told they could temporarily move in because Barry had a home (he is not fond of cats). The cat will be moving here end of June but Barry is back here and again looking for his forever home. I took him in from South Dakota where a personal problem put his life at risk. That was in November. Originally his name was Kilo. Yes, his first owners were drug dealers who abused him. His next owner had an abusive boyfriend. He then lived with that owners father for five years. I was given some history and behavior information that has proven to be wrong. While he is protective of women he has no problem with my son or oldest grandson (who he loves). He watches the kids outside and I know would want to play. The temp home he had he enjoyed the 11 year old and her friends, and did not mind the parents when they came to pick up their kids. He is an 8 year old guy who has an old knee injury, which I give him Curamin for. He has fallen in love with the balcony and lays out there all day. He is a couch potato and loves when someone is there on the couch with him. He will steal most of the bed but give him some old couch cushions on the floor and that will be fine with him. He is a wiggle butt mush baby. I love him but the intent was to save his life and find him a home. My guy wants his routine back (although they get along great and I have removed the coffee table so there is more wrestling room) and the cat will be arriving soon. Please, I want this to be the last time he is moved. He hit the 7 week mark mid May and the trusting relaxed mode kicked in. I do not want to keep doing this to him. If you are serious please email or call me for more info about him, yes he has his quirks and issues like everyone does. (Less)

American Bulldogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. The American Bulldog is an athletic, determined, loyal, and highly devoted breed. American Bulldogs are very affectionate towards children but should be supervised because of their strength. American Bulldogs are very protective of their masters and make great guard dogs. An American Bulldog can do fine in an apartment if it gets enough exercise and is walked daily. Like the English Bulldog, the American Bulldog tends to slobber.
