Kilo just moved in with us yesterday, and is already such an impressive dog! He's an 'in your pocket' kind of dog, that loves following you from room to room. He almost ALWAYS has a toy in his mouth - squishy stuffed animal, ball, dog brush, destroyed tennis ball, etc. He's a goofy boy that loves chasing balls and playing, and also cuddling with you on the couch. He's pretty sure he's a lap dog. He hasn't had an accident in the house and is very polite waiting for his food and taking treats. He's great at walking on a leash, which is good since he is so big and strong! He does seem a little too interested in other dogs while on a leash, so we'll work on that after he settles in a little more. He was wonderful in allowing people to come in the house, no barking or jumping at all. He goes into his crate happily, and we were also able to leave him alone in the house for four hours with no incidents. All in all, he just seems like a really lovely dog looking for someone to spoil him with toys and affection. He'd be perfect in any home! (Less)

Kilo is a special and I want that special home for him. I took him in from South Dakota from a situation that he became the pawn and his life at stake. I am looking for this special home because while he and my guy Ted get along great Ted is having issues about his routine being changed and he pouts a lot now. My intention was to get Kilo back to Wisconsin and safe and find him a home. I was given info about him that has proved to not be actual. Yes, hence the name Kilo he was originally owned by drug dealers who did abuse and torture him. From there his rescuer had an abusive boyfriend. So I was told he had issues with men. So far that has not been the case. I make sure he is introduced to everyone on his terms not them being introduced to him. He loves my oldest grandson (28) and my son. They come over when I am not home without a problem. He has also been around my 9 year old grand-daughter and 3 and 6 year old great grandsons. No problems. He does like to see people and get spoiled, just not surprised. I am prone to state caution above since I have had him with me since Nov 11. He enjoys the dog park which I started out keeping on leash and he would just walk the perimeter with me and greet some that came up to him, ignored others. In a short time he would he would go up to every dog, some he didn't like so much, some didn't like him so much. He would walk up to all of the people (which seems to be best, he goes to them not them to him) I then let him be off leash and he had fun until the day he had so much fun chasing the ball he aggrevated an old knee injury. So to not have him worsen it or be in pain I keep him on the leash again and he seems to be not so patient around the dogs since he can't run and play. I have pain medication for him and also medication for itching which is not as bad as it was but we cannot figure out the issue, if it is allergies or what? (He does love his vet. He also has separation anxiety. Vertical blinds have no chance and horizontal need to be rolled up high enough he cannot reach. He would be best in that special home where someone is around most of the time. He does ride great in the car. It is almost like he watches the traffic and the route. AS I have said I want the right home for him. His forever home. That this is the last time he is uprooted. Where he will be loved, spoiled and has someone to snuggle on the couch with. He can be quite the couch potato when Ted is not teasing him to wrestle. If you are serious about Kilo becoming a part of your family you can email or call me and I can discuss him further. I am going to be very picky about where he goes so please only if you really are serious. (Less)

This is a great dog about 6 years old that needs to find a new home within a couple of days. He is best with kids 10 years old and up and he is ok with other dogs once he gets warmed up. He is the biggest lover and sweetest dog ever. A little protective of his owners and a little dominant with other dogs at first, but warms up to them quick. He cuddles for hours and is a great companion.

American Bulldogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. The American Bulldog is an athletic, determined, loyal, and highly devoted breed. American Bulldogs are very affectionate towards children but should be supervised because of their strength. American Bulldogs are very protective of their masters and make great guard dogs. An American Bulldog can do fine in an apartment if it gets enough exercise and is walked daily. Like the English Bulldog, the American Bulldog tends to slobber.
